Pushin' the Pella
Thank you to those of you who contribute to this column, and thanks for helping us Push the Pella!!!
From Angelina:
I love Rockapella. On March 3 (my 16th birthday), I went to a
Rockapella
concert near New Orleans, where I live. I ended up having an extra ticket
because one of my stupid friends backed out at the last minute (obviously,
we're not friends anymore). Well, I didn't want to invite any of my friends
because they had all been acting stupid toward me all week. I invited my
younger sister Mary to go with me. She could stand them, but wasn't really a
fan. She just went to make me happy. Well, as soon as the concert was over,
she told me she wanted to borrow all of my CDs until she could get her own.
Pretty cool, huh?
I got my mom loving Rockapella before the concert and she went to the
concert too. After the concert, I got my older sister Robin hooked. She
too, wanted to borrow the CDs. Now my sisters Mary and Robin and I are like
the "Rockapella Sisters" of the family. I'm determined to get more
teenagers
I know to get into Rockapella's music.

From Elizabeth:
Hi. I'm Elizabeth and I'm 15 years old. I first heard Rockapella when I
was 8 and watched Carmen Sandiego. I loved Rockapella's funny skits, great songs and
voices, and I loved them immediately. I still do.
Here's my Pella Pusher story: I told my friend Jennifer about Rockapella, and she liked
their music, even more than the Backstreet Boys. About a month later, we went to the mall
together and she asked me to bring their concert CD so her mom could hear it. Now she
wants to see the video. I'm glad I have at least one friend who has good taste in music!
